DopaDopa Word Gacha

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-17

1. Scope

These terms set the conditions for using Dopa Word Gacha (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them.

2. The Service

The Service is a free browser game for entertainment in which you collect English-word cards whose rarity is based on how often each word is used. “Dopa”, “Chips”, “Packs”, “Tickets” and similar items in the game have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money or goods. There are no purchases with real money in the game.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You must not break the law, gain unauthorized access, place excessive load on the servers, interfere with the operation of the Service, infringe the rights of others, or do anything else the operator considers inappropriate.

4. Save Data

Game data is stored in your browser. If it is lost because you cleared browser data, changed devices or for any other reason, the operator cannot restore it. Please make backups with the export function in the settings.

5. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. The operator does not guarantee its completeness, accuracy or continuity. Pronunciations, meanings, translations and example sentences shown in the game may contain errors. Example sentences are chosen automatically because they contain the word; their sense does not necessarily match. If you use the Service for study, exams or translation, always check other references as well. The operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the Service except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

6. Sources and Licenses of the Content

The card data is assembled by machine from Wiktionary (via Kaikki.org / Wiktextract, CC BY-SA 4.0), wordfreq 3.1.1 (CC BY-SA 4.0), Tatoeba (CC BY 2.0 FR) and Open English WordNet 2025 (CC BY 4.0); words were selected, filtered, reformatted and banded into rarities by frequency. The card data as a whole is shared under CC BY-SA 4.0. The fonts are subsets of Inter and Lora (SIL Open Font License 1.1) and DejaVu Sans (Bitstream Vera License). See the license list for details. Rights in each dataset belong to their respective owners.

7. Trademarks and Non-affiliation

The Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Wikimedia Foundation, Tatoeba, wordfreq or Open English WordNet. “Wiktionary” and “Wikipedia” are trademarks of the Wikimedia Foundation, Inc.

8. Support

Voluntary support (donations) may be accepted, but it does not give any in-game benefit or preferential treatment.

9. Changes to These Terms

The operator may change these terms as needed. Changes take effect when they are published on this page.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court is the exclusive court of first instance for any dispute concerning the Service.

11. Contact
