DopaDopa Word Gacha

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-17

1. Information We Handle

Dopa Word Gacha (the “Service”) stores game data such as the words you have drawn, your collection, rank, trophies, settings and display language only in your own browser (localStorage, key dew_save_v1). This data is not sent to the operator’s servers. There is no account or sign-in, and you are never asked to enter personal information such as a name or e-mail address.

The site is delivered as static files through Cloudflare, Inc. When you visit, Cloudflare may process your IP address, browser information and access time in ordinary access logs.

2. Purpose of Use

Game data is used only to run the game in your browser. Access logs may be used to provide and maintain the Service and to deal with failures and abuse.

3. Cookies and Browser Storage

The Service itself sets no cookies. It uses your browser’s storage (localStorage) to keep your game data. If you clear the site data in your browser, the saved game data is deleted as well. You can make a backup with the export function in the settings. Advertising providers may set cookies or similar identifiers when they show ads (see Section 4).

4. Advertising and Analytics

In Japan, the Service may show ads from the “Zucks Ad Network” (ZUCKS, Inc.). The ad provider may use cookies, advertising identifiers and similar identifiers to deliver and measure ads, and handles them under its own privacy policy.

When your packs run low, you can choose to watch an ad (or one of our own promotions) and, after a short wait, receive packs in the game. Watching is optional, and packs also refill over time.

Where no ad is available, and outside Japan, we may show promotions for the operator’s other services, “Dopa Kanji Gacha” and “Wikipedia Gacha”. Opening a promotion takes you to that site.

No analytics tool is used, and no other advertising service is currently used. If that changes, this policy will be revised first.

5. Spoken Pronunciation

The 🔊 buttons on a word’s page read the word aloud with the speech synthesis of your browser and device (Web Speech API). Depending on the device, the word may be processed by a speech service provided by the device maker or the operating system. The operator does not receive it.

6. Links to Other Services and Sources

Word pages link to Wiktionary and Tatoeba. How those sites handle information is governed by their own policies. For the sources and licenses of the card data, see the license list.

7. Sharing with Third Parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law. The hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process ordinary access logs according to its own policies. When ads are shown, the ad provider (ZUCKS, Inc.) may collect device information and advertising identifiers (see Section 4).

8. Changes

We may revise this policy as needed. Revisions take effect when they are published on this page.
